NEWBORN CARE SPECIALIST

A newborn care specialist is a highly trained professional who specializes in the care of newborns during the first few months of life. Their expertise lies in providing comprehensive care for newborns, including feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, and establishing healthy sleep routines. Newborn care specialists often work overnight shifts to support parents in getting much-needed rest while ensuring the baby's needs are met. They may also offer guidance on breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and infant development. With their wealth of knowledge and experience, newborn care specialists provide invaluable support and reassurance to new parents, helping them navigate the early days of parenthood with confidence and peace of mind.

The E.A.S.Y. Start is a 1.5-hour in-home consult — recommended at your baby's 6-week mark — designed to help your family find a gentle, workable routine so everyone can start getting longer stretches at night.

Michelle Lloyd, Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, comes to your home and walks you through the E.A.S.Y. method (Eat · Activity · Sleep · You) developed by newborn expert Tracy Hogg. Together you will cover:

Feeding — the foundation of any good routine

Activity and tummy time — why they are key to better sleep

The E.A.S.Y. schedule — a flexible routine built around your baby, not the clock

Unswaddling — when and how to transition safely

Reading your baby's cues — so you can respond with confidence

Many families book before baby arrives so the consult is already on the calendar at

6 weeks.

Don't wait until you're running on empty.
